What makes your caregivers different?
All of our caregivers are bonded, insured, and go through a rigorous screening program. This includes employment history and driving record checks as well as criminal record and vulnerable sector screenings. All of our caregivers have graduated from recognized personal health programs with up to date CPR and First Aid certificates. Companion caregivers have a wealth of experience from personal circumstances. New employees must attend a comprehensive orientation program and will be provided with ongoing training to stay current.
Is there any obligation to go with Premier?
Absolutely not. Our clients are not tied to a contract. If you wish to terminate our service, simply let us know. Service agreements are used to outline the particulars of your customized service plan. These are not contracts. Service agreements simply outline the services we do for you.
Is there any minimum booking time?
The minimum amount of time that we spend with our clients is 3 hours. Accommodations can be made for special circumstances. The period of time that our caregivers spend assisting you is completely based on your needs. We can help for short or long-term periods.
What other type of care do you provide?
We offer respite care to primary caregivers, generally a spouse or child, so that they can take a break from their role. Respite care can be on a regular basis or even to provide care while on vacation. Primary caregivers need a break too, that’s where we can help.
Our caregivers also have the sensitivity, compassion and experience to provide non-medical palliative care services. Helping you or a loved one with the final transitions of life at home.
